My Ruru account did managed to get her (guaranteed) and her weapon so that account is back to astrite-hoarding for Brant's weapon (yup, took the risk). Meanwhile, my speedrun-husbando-centric account got Roccia ('cos I love her!) and her weapon. Also still needs Brant's weapon though so back to work lol
Considering how far I need to go every time, I don't think my main account is getting Phrolova any time soon... Kind of wish I can get her weapon at least so that I won't have to worry about that next time... but yeah, it really looks more and more like I'm skipping the patch XD
Tactical Hologram Progress
Made some big progress since last time: Completed Difficulty 6 for all... except Dragon of Dirge (lol).
The Brant-Jinhsi-Shorekeeper team worked for Lorelei & Hecate! Honestly, I don't know how I survived Hecate's second phase... but I did it~!
Had to use a triple-healer team for Kelpie lol
2.5 so far
Honestly though... the best thing about 2.5 for me is the echo management feature. It really makes echo-farming easier. Although I can't really do much of it anyway because I'm near the 3000 limit lol. What I need is echo xp...
The new main story was... fine, I guess. I've seen a bit of the discourse(?). Not much really because most that I saw were just complaining about Rover and I, a Rover main, will not waste my time with those XD. One of the things I see is the promise thing? Like, I doubt you remember all your promises like damn (who are you to judge :P)... it looks more like them getting mad at having their Waifu killed. (By the way, I loved that. I loved that they go there. And it doesn't look like a permanent one too, so I don't get all the sadness lol, there's definitely something there where they can bring her back... her being half-human should have been a good clue)
I do like how they handle being in an antagonist's shoes though. Makes me excited for the other Fractsidus resonators.
It's kind of funny though because I have a quite different reaction to Phrolova's story. I was also like Rover, I don't really believe her at the start but the situation made it necessary for them to work together despite all that. I guess I'm more on the cold side because I understand Phrolova's motivation but I'm acting like "Okay, next!" XD (Honestly? I've seen enough interesting antagonists through reading books/manga/manhwa and watching stuff my whole life so... she's not that special). I also don't really get the sadness after that (probably because I kind of "spoil" myself immediately after it ended)... I'm more sad about Imperator :( which I guess not many will care to be sad about because Imperator isn't a woman
The main story, at this point, is making me wonder about Rover though. Is it regression? Or reincarnation? Another thing to think about is if she did something related to the antagonists (Fractsidus for now). Can't help thinking she might have tried getting info/knowledge/data from the other side considering the conversation she had with Cartethyia at the end of 2.2's main story quest --- I look forward to seeing such twists in the future.
