Sweet・The chocolate I'm eating while I do this post...

Minty・Tried using Stevia today because we're out of sugar (it's those cups of hot milk tea *sigh*...). Read online that some people say it tastes like menthol (so minty?) but I'm not getting that taste when I tried it? (I'll try again with Stevia only later)

Salty・My crappy memory nowadays... I know I need to sleep properly but I haven't been able to do that yet *sigh*

Peachy・PockySweet's livestreaming the game "Only Up" while I make this post. He's been playing the game for a couple weeks already (he livestreams every Wednesday) and it's such a pleasure to watch him fall for an S like me :P... It's definitely a game that's more fun when you watch other people play it.

Okay, I'm doing another "5 flavours" post.

I really need a proper title format for this post series. But I'm bored of using dates...

「Sweet」- The Taro pie I ate after dinner :P.

「Bitter」- I've been tasked to look for something (at home) yesterday. Not my stuff so it's a bit hard to guess where the thing is... tried looking for it today but no luck. 

「Nostalgic」- Been listening to Arashi's albums on Spotify recently. 

「Creamy」- What is this flavour lol... but.. but.. that's the word that came to my mind when I play the piano today. It sounded creamily (LOL) good, even though I was just playing pieces for technical practice. Maybe I should stick to those kind of pieces when I'm not in the mood for harder, complex ones?

「Chamomile」- Another weird flavour haha.. Okay, I picked this one because it's related to sleep. I had some good sleep this past week. Which is rare. Hormones are so weird.

「Spicy」 - The flavour of ramen I had for dinner XD. 

「Sweet」 - The vanilla ice cream I mixed with avocado that I ate after the ramen to counter the spiciness.

「Neutral」 - The mystery-themed book I'm currently reading: "The Midsummer's Equation" by Higashino Keigo. I found this book at Popular's bargain/discount corner. I actually saw the movie version before but I don't remember who's the culprit anymore haha. I enjoy reading it so far.

「Nostalgic」 - Theme songs of old Chinese drama series aired in Malaysia. Specifically, "Detective Investigation Files" theme songs. My favourite theme song is from the 3rd one. " I was talking about Chinese dramas we used to watch with my friend and that's how I end up looking for these theme songs. 

「Salty」 - Mayaka from "Hyouka." I'm re-watching the anime again (yeah by now it's like I'm doing a rewatch every 6 months I don't know anymore) and I'm still a bit annoyed by the way she always treat Hotarou. I don't remember feeling this way about her when I first saw this anime. It's not about me being salty about her. More like me wondering why she's always acting so salty with Hotarou? 

I tried. 

No mood to blog today so I took some really, really, really random things from my memory box. Actually the box used to be a shoe box, nothing special. But the things in it are priceless. There are sweet, sour, bitter, spicy and neutral things inside.

#1 “A Spicy Note” – I received this note after an individual science presentation when I was in Form 1 (2001). If you understand Malay, you can feel the spice in her message. I was amused that I could get a note like that (& also the fact she dared sending me that) at that time. It’s a thing from the past so I don’t think she remembers writing a note like that to me (thus I don’t mind displaying it here).

#2 “A Bitter Rejection Card” – Do you know why it’s bitter? I rejected the offer without consulting my parents. Ungrateful. My dad was really mad. They were even worried if I will reject this year’s offer & warned me beforehand to talk with them if I received any offer this year (which I accepted).

#3 “A Sweet Invitation Card” – That’s not me, it’s for my mum’s convocation. I have a post dedicated for that. I still think calling her “Mum” is more important than “Dr”.

#4 “A Sour Collection of Definitions” – Moral Education stuff. I memorised the highlighted words because they were keywords for definition questions and also for the essay part. I still hate that subject.

#5 “Neutral Reminders” – This was my ‘homework notebook’ in Form 3 (2003). Simple. I think I’m going to buy a similar notebook for next semester.

Initially, I thought of posting these photos only… I suddenly had the idea of describing the 5 flavours for these photos when I was typing the post. Inspiration is very unexpected & random. (Neutral isn’t really a flavour, is it? Tawar?)
