Eiichi has the same birthday with me

Time for obligatory birthday & 1st day of the month post~~~!

Though... honestly, today isn't really a day to write home about. Very ordinary day which consisted of getting birthday wishes/presents and... I like how low-key it is.

Random info of the day! I just opened UtaPri Live Emotion app today because I know there'll be some personal birthday messages and look at what I just learned today! Apparently it's also Eiichi's birthday lol (I feel uncomfortable with his character for some reason so I never bothered learning HEAVENS members' birthdays)... I was like, "Why is Eiichi's giving me personalized birthday greetings after Tokiya???" (I missed the part where he was the one "thanking" me for being there for his birthday looool). Then I noticed his birthday mission is available for today haha

Weird Craving

I refused to wake up twice today.

Then... I woke up with a headache late morning :P *sigh*

Haven't returned to the book since that day. I think short story collections is my kryptonite. I might have to remove them if I get one from the jar in the future. They are giving me fears like one have for thick books - feels impossible to finish them...

Oh but I kind of like the latest method that I tried to get through them. Doesn't necessarily need to go from shortest to longest... maybe just pick one story at random and not start from the first story.

Kind of been having some weird craving for bloody movies... Is this what I get after I finish those Alien/Predator movies??? WTH lol

Well, I do have that plan about re-watching/watching Saw movies so maybe I'll move on to that...

Just finished watching the first season of UtaPri. Damn, I still cried watching that scene in the last episode... and I also cried for Ren & Tokiya's episodes before that XD

I know it sounds weird after talking about my previous weird craving but now I want to listen to UtaPri songs lol (UtaPri craving is starting again XD)... maybe I'll also go back to the playing "Shining Live" - JP version, of course. The english version is dead :(

Melted Chocolate

Hot day. I left out a jar of chocolate (and forgot to eat :P) and each pieces melted and merged into each other.

Anime

☆ Found another cosy-looking isekai anime~ By the Grace of the Gods. The first season is from way back in 2020 so I'm a few years late but who cares! Hopefully I won't find any reasons to DNF it...

☆ Muse Asia is currently showing UtaPri 1000% so I guess it's time to ~~fall in love with~~ meet Tokiya again XD (The theme song really doesn't help, it has to be Tokiya :P... at least for the first season). It's also going to feel a bit different now with my newfound [but not really new lol] love and appreciation for Jinguji Ren.

Tumblr

Suddenly have the urge to revive my personal Tumblr today although I don't know where to start. Probably should start with cleaning up my following list. I could start reblogging stuff related to current life (like things I'm currently watching or reading). I used to add quotes from books I was reading too... where have all those moments gone to? *sigh*

Alien & Predator

Currently watching "Alien 3". Back to space! I saw this one on TV before but only the last half. The beginning got a big WTF reaction from me (imagine watching this directly from "Aliens" omg). As usual, people being unprepared again (although it's not really their fault), and f*ck there's animal death (I don't care if this is considered a spoiler, people should be warned!)... and a man-killing space cockroach that's hard to get rid of *shakes head*. Now I'm kind of looking forward to the crossover movies! I wonder what do you call those predator aliens? (I haven't got far into the series and I'm trying so hard not to stumble on spoilers. I did watch some of the newer movies but I don't remember much)

Salty Tears

Let me just list out some things I forgot to include in my posts this week:

Had a dream few days ago about alien invasion. These aliens came here and somehow "stole" our technology... I don't know how they do it but whatever technology we have isn't usable anymore. And they want to kill humans. It felt more like a thriller really. Fun... scary dream.
Just realised that I can't play UtaPri songs anymore on Spotify (they got geo-blocked)... :\
Yesterday saw this on Tumblr. Important Blue Internet Checkmarks XD... Loved that lol.. Saw some accounts who got it already, I think it looks nice :P

Also, Ryan Reynolds is on Tumblr... (Funny thing is I knew about it from an ask on Neil Gaiman's Tumblr haha).
...It's probably time to tidy up my digital followings/subscriptions again..

"Buying another book already owned" has happened to my mother XD (... though it kind of serves as a reminder for me to start putting the books from the family bookshelves in LibraryThing)
So... I just knew from an e-mail yesterday that CIMB's Kwik prepaid credit card is being discontinued... I applied for that years ago because I had problems with linking my Maybank ATM debit card to Google Play/Wallet (it was during its early days). In the end, I didn't really use it much other than for Spotify's subscription... and when I buy games on Origin and Epic, I guess. Honestly, I'm quite glad that this happen. Now I don't have to worry about that card anymore.
Been having dry eyelids problems (mostly on my right eye) since last month... It can get itchy whenever I go out and the sun is very strong. Recently I've tried wearing an eyepatch when I need to go out to get the laundry (although it has been raining more recently so there's really no need lol)... I mean, my point of telling this is... now I can't cry freely [for fictional characters] because the salty tears make it itchy. Yeah, I just want to complain about that haha.. I have to stop watching or reading if it's going to get me teary-eyed... Damn, I can't even yawn - if that is even possible (sleep early?) - or I'll get tears in my eyes. ~~Sweating is hell :(~~

I got distracted most of the day yesterday.

*long sigh*

Oh well. Did make some progress though, at night. Although... my pain from Saturday made it difficult. The 700-over-page book felt heavier than usual. So... apparently, it can be hard to hold a book that size when you have muscle aches in your hands...

Anyway, I do still think it can be finished within this week so... wish me luck?

We've been getting rain in the morning (and throughout the day) so it has been quite a wet day with no dry laundry. *sigh*

..I stumbled on some shocking news recently. While one of it isn't really new in that industry, the amount of time it happened really surprised me. I want to say that the news don't really affect me but I still feel affected anyway...

Also, I've been very mean these few days. There's a reason I don't like reading news. I will always get mad at stupid people.

That was kind of surprising.
Unrelated: I used to... hmm.. I guess I'm still a bit of a perfectionist. I still try toning that side down because I get really frustrated whenever I could not get something done perfectly. I learn to appreciate and accept imperfection (which can be beautiful and appropriate in its own way). But I will totally reach for perfection if it's within my reach XD... if not, I don't want to think much about it and just keep doing what I want to do.

P/s2: Take it however you like: I had my love for UtaPri re-ignited last month. I think it was 2013 or 2014 that I got into the UtaPri fandom (through the anime). My crushes included Tokiya, Ren, Masato, Ranmaru & Camus. Some stuff happened in February and it led to me confirming my love for Ren (voice!!!) & Tokiya (voice, again!!!).. yup totally in that order lol. Surprisingly, Masato remains as my crush but I got like a crush on his seiyuu too (his talking voice is just my type). I did it in my Tumblr & Twitter accounts but..: Have I ever mention here that I have a voice fetish ♡?? I have a few seiyuus I'm crushing on but Konishi Katsuyuki is totally on the top at this moment ♡♡♡

Randomness 2019

Few weeks into 2019, I'm hit with some past memories... - I guess you can say I'm reminiscing - since I... sigh... have time. I re-read my old blog posts and that already made me miss my own writing. Haha.. I say this every time I re-read posts but the feeling is still true to this day: It's like the past me is a different person. I can almost say I don't know her.

Also recently, I... *keeps rechecking words and phrases stuff that I should dedicate a post to it*... erm.. reconnected with my Arashi fan side... in a subdued way (since I can never get over my loss of 2 external HD worth of Arashi stuff *that still hurts to type*). Reading depressing news these past few days made me want to think "Do whatever that makes you happy". I still think that is an irresponsible phrase so I will interpret it with caution.

P/s: This gloominess is probably (partially) caused by hormones *bitter smile*... One good thing when it's near that time of the month is I get sensitive ears : I get to enjoy songs more than usual which can be a curse (because omg the amount of time in a day I put Jinguji Ren's 悪魔のKissは炎より激しく on repeat last year lol / *off topic* & seriously when will I get Perfect/Ultimate combo for Pro in Shining Live like this youtuber??)
