Our Power Woes
Received these books today~
"Spark" was the one I wanted to get because it's kind of related to stories behind Japanese showbiz(?). Obviously, I don't know much about it at this point... but it's from the comedian side of view (I wish I can find a novel one day that's involves acting department, like "Skip Beat!). The other two are pretty random choices. "The Only Child" got an interesting summary & it's a thriller so I guess that one is not so much a random choice haha. Honestly, I have very low expectations (might even hate it later) for the last book. Decided to get it anyway because the story is set in Japan and it's only RM4.90 ..well, it's still under RM10 if you include the shipping cost (divided by three).

Oh yeah, yesterday I went out for some phone-telco-related business and boy I was dead tired by the time I got home. And it was fortunate that I went out almost the whole day because we didn't have any power at home - SESB was doing some repair works in the area (related to recent blackout).
Then there were more chaos in the evening: I decided to register a new device to use MAE app (only one can be linked to) and I had to re-activate the secure2u feature thing at (and only at) their ATM. It's quite funny really, I got in a slight panic because I wanted to use the debit card tomorrow so I pretty much dragged my family out around 6-7pm for a brief "visit" to the nearest Maybank ATM lol. Online, they said you have to wait 12 hours but mine was 18 hours. Probably because it's after working hours.
