I... finished reading "Heaven's Shadow" last night/early morning. Wanted to give it one star but ended up taking away a half because I can't stand the writing style. What a waste of tree lives. ...I don't really have anything good to say about it. Too many characters, too many things about them I don't care about... There's a sequel.. (sequels? since apparently it's a trilogy). How dare you.

With this, my small goal for this month is now complete. Honestly, I don't feel any sense of accomplishment or even relief... what's ahead is a gloomy future of reading slump... yeah, I guess I'm doing that after all - I've decided to not read any new physical books (with some exceptions). So I'm not picking new books from the jar starting next month. I'm going to wallow in my physical reading slump until whenever it ends(?).
