I'm still generally in a slow reading mode (very reading slump-like). But recently, I found solace(?) in reading a non-fiction book about Youtube... I actually started reading this last December but hadn't pick it up again since because that's just how I am with non-fiction books XD... It's more about Youtube's history on viral videos (so far) and I've been having fun with reading about memes I'm not familiar with. Usually, they are just those I didn't participate in watching for some reason in the past but I did hear about some of them. It's interesting how they were viewed as weird and kind of revolutionary at that time but they would totally be (& sound) normal nowadays. 

It's slow reading in this area too but that's nothing new. I started reading a new book at the end of April... & although it's romance, it's of a subgenre I'm not used to: K-pop Romance. LOL. I'm only "willing" to jump into reading this because I used to read the author's stories on Tumblr (loved her writing!). If she still writes the same way, there shouldn't be any problems in enjoying the book... 

Been [re]reading some saintess-themed ones recently (because apparently that's the mood I'm in for haha) and one of it is "A Tale of the Secret Saint".... Gah!!! I'm really curious about which of them is the reincarnation of Sirius! I don't think it's confirmed yet in the web novel but I might be wrong... I guess that means I need to read the WN next *sigh*

Anyway, kind of got reminded how disgusting their version of "modern" saintesses are. Like seriously, ewwww. I don't even want to call them cockroach b*tches. They are just disgusting saintesses as of now (it's a category of their own, evil and fake saintesses might not be included). Yes, there are still some nice ones but the ones that are not are really irritating. I can't stand seeing them embarrass themselves, parading around with their meagre powers, in front of the great(er) [but secret] saintess Fia. 

Oh yeah, I think at this point it's already an open-but-not-really secret that everyone knows that Fia's a saintess or at least has some great powers XD, even if it's by feeling or sense (like seriously, it should be easy to deduce she's one with the things she said and done lol). I'm not even going to be surprised if she makes the reveal later on and people around her will just be "We already [kind of] know that! That's old news!" :P

On manhwa side, I've been enjoying some funny and absurd ones recently. There were some angsty ones but I was rest assured from some spoilers that they would be worth it. Some time ago, I acknowledged to myself that I don't mind angst in stories just as long as the pay-off is a good one. That usually mean I want it to have a happy ending and all the bad guys get their just deserts, in whichever form that might be.
