Reading
Titled after a word that appears so many times in "Sophie's World". I only knew about the music-related definition. I should add that to my everyday vocabulary :P - like "Gah, a mere bagatelle!" or something - and make myself more confusing than ever to everyone else.
Oh gosh I finally finished "Sophie's World".
I probably would appreciate this book more if I read it during my teenage years - now I'm too untrusting (I was very suspicious of Alberto in the beginning) and jaded to enjoy the philosophy lessons. It was interesting at first, then it lost me in the middle (but not enough to DNF it)... got interesting again near the end.. and lost me again somewhere after that lol.
It did get me interested in some of the people mentioned there so maybe (MAYBE!) I'll read about them on Wikipedia later.
That's another book off my 2021 currently-reading leftovers~
...haaah now I wanna go read some manga...

Received this today. Diana Wynne Jones' "Power of Three". Preloved copy. Besides the yellowed pages, it's actually in a good condition. Kind of glad to get this version - it's the same cover of the one I borrowed from school library decades(!!!) ago.

I mentioned about this book before last year.
Also made me want to seek out Diana Wynne Jones' "Power of Three" which to me somewhat represented the local politic scene (okay maybe not so much of the politic side... things like main races and the stereotypes).
Not going to read it now but I look forward to rereading and see if I still feel/see the same thing. What I remember was: it's about three different types of people(creature?), who generally has their own ideas and prejudices of the other two, and what happens when they meet... yeah probably got some of that facts wrong but well~ that's why I need to reread it. But not now. Not yet.
