Reading
Not much reading done today. I decided the haramaki is long (tall?) enough so I was busy binding it off the whole afternoon. So many stitches (T_T)... Anyway, it's completed!
I'm still reading and preparing for the second haramaki project. Probably not going to start soon since I assume that I don't have enough yarn (of the same colour).
Currently, I'm reading "A Short History of Disease" and it's super interesting how we're as stupid as the people in the past in handling pandemics. Reminded me a lot of what happened last year. Very amused by the stuff I read. Things like quarantine, business owners being anti-quarantine, self-denial of diseases killing people... those kind of things already happened in the past and... history keeps repeating itself.
"Animal Farm" is also interesting... in a provocative way. This would have been interesting to study in school for English literature. It reminded me again why I'm not a fan of politics. Also made me want to seek out Diana Wynne Jones' "Power of Three" which to me somewhat represented the local politic scene (okay maybe not so much of the politic side... things like main races and the stereotypes).
