Reading
I feel accomplished today. I've cleaned my dusty table fans (yes, fans).
Also finished reading "House of Many Ways". I'm four days early lol - I planned to finish this on 28th, according to my reading schedule. Well, the schedule is more like a guide(?) at this point so this shouldn't be a surprise, I guess.
Does having a reading schedule take away the fun in reading? I don't think so. I read multiple books at one time (...still experimenting with this haha) and the schedule helps me avoid feeling overwhelmed... in some way, it also makes it hard to fall into a reading slump (in my case, anyway). Maybe because you know when it will end, so reading a certain amount of pages daily feels doable and safe.
Anyway, back to "House of Many Ways". Yeeeaah... still not a fan of the main character. Also, this can easily be a horror story with that lubbock stuff... weirdly though, I enjoyed those horror(?) elements more this time. Now that I've finished rereading the "Howl's Moving Castle" series - that's two books off the not-rigid list - I'm actually glad that each of them can be read as standalones. I usually just reread "Howl's Moving Castle" because that's my favourite.
