Also did a bit organising today. I feel like I'm just tidying them up for more books lol.
I realised there are some "dangers" that come with doing this organisation thing.
1. I found my very old, 2nd-hand-bought, book of "Dream of Red Mansions". I have Volume 1. There are 3 volumes overall. I started searching for the other volumes to complete my set. They are over RM100 each on Book Depository. There's someone selling for RM200 for all three (so, a complete set) on Shopee.
Fortunately they are expensive! I haven't even read that Volume 1. I might not like it so why bother buying a complete set now, after so many years?
2. I realised I have 3 copies of "Jane Eyre" and none of them is a hardback version. Very tempted to get the MacMillan Collector's Library version. Since I have P&P from the same series, I know it will be the right size for my hands.
3. For classics, I should just read whatever version I have at that moment (and they're probably available online legally anyway) before buying any other versions of the same book. I actually have 2 copies of "Wuthering Heights". I suspected that the 2nd purchase were made before I read it. Or maybe I just want a backup because the first one is a version that I couldn't stand reading.
I have a few books from these Scholastic Classics series (the old one that looks like this) and they don't smell nice after so many years. Yes, they smell like old books but the dusty kind which makes me want to sneeze.
