Three more days left and I'm done with this blog post title game...:P (I totally scheduled this post 2 minutes before 3pm haha)
Finally received these today. Preloved books I found on Carousell early this month. They are in a really good condition though so the wait is worth it.
So, I got another DWJ book that I read before but never own it, "The Homeward Bounders". The other book is Terry Pratchett's "A Blink of the Screen". A collection of short stories (called shorter fiction on the cover) so it's perfect for me who is just getting to know his writing style (I really should try finish reading "Good Omens" this year *sigh*). I don't really care if it's out of order in a series or something because I'm doing the library book reading thing. It's like when I just randomly borrow books from the library that I find interesting, read and treat it like a standalone book (even though it's the 7th book in the series XD, for example). Just read what I can find now. (Though I must note that I do have series of books that I'm just collecting and haven't read now... so, I'm not that rigid)
Also, found "The Metamorphosis" on the national library's overdrive. Never thought of looking for the book there. I just planned buying via Bookxcess/BBW if they ever get it in stock again.
Let me just remind you again that this is a personal blog and not a book/reading blog lol. A personal blog that posts more about books recently. I need the distraction from current news.
Haven't been watching much newer anime series. Still have not finished with Moriarty. I think the only one I'm following for this season is the continuation of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" (S2). I've been watching a bit of "The Detective is Already Dead" too but let's see how long I'll last until I can't stand certain characters there. *sigh* So many things irritate me randomly nowadays. I have to stop reading or watching or listening before I decide to hate them out of nowhere. Man, escaping is the answer here. I don't want to say something that I'll regret in the future when I'm... like this.
