I posted about my old Fear Street books last month and this one had a detached cover.
I think it was eaten by termites...? [Or other paper-eating insects?]
Anyway. If I want to read this book again, I want the cover in place so I repair...erm.. improvised (lol). I used a piece of thick A4 paper. Divided into two for the front and back covers. Glued the nasty-looking covers on them. Because I thought the colour was suitable, I used the highlighter and filled the visible white parts with it. Then I wrapped it with some leftover adhesive plastic cover. You can see that it's not enough at the back cover.

There's a white line there where I put clear cellophane tape. Yeah, I totally forgot to use the highlighter first before putting the tape *sigh*.

I'm quite proud of it haha. The fluorescent colour is very striking - I chuckled whenever I catch a glance of it XD. But it does complement the old cover well, I think.
