Goodbye Year 2020

Posted in: # Mass Effect | 2020 posts | Anime | Art Stuff | Interest: Games | Interest: TV | My Fangirl Side | My Paranoid Side | Reading

I feel like I need to post something today just to summarise what happened since my last post (which was in October. Wow).

Nothing much, really.

But there's one thing I must include in this post today: Despite what happened this year, my year 2020 is a better year than my last year. I feel like an empty shell in 2019. This year, I feel more alive. Even though I spent most of the year at home. Yes.

2020 is a complicated year.. but I won't pretend that it never happen. Maybe it's just me wanting to see the bright side of things. I survived. I guess that's the only thing that matters now... seeing how I look forward to futures again. Not going to go out much yet at this time - my paranoid side yells a solid NO - but I look forward to visiting [botanical] gardens in the far future.

Some mundane updates, in random order...
✿ I've been watching Oguri Shun's old dorama, BORDER, recently and I'm appreciating it more now that I somewhat made peace with my dark side (hue hue hue).. the show was actually dark from the beginning! I never realised that before.. very interesting.
✿ This is the year I pick up old & new hobbies. Phew! I don't know how people do it.. I'm so bad at allocating time for all of them. Anyway... I've been reading a bit again. Did some minor watercolour paintings. Became more interested in gardening. Also, I learnt how to knit! Planned to learn crocheting too but I underestimated the amount of yarns I need so that is going to happen next year I guess.
✿ Watched more anime... Music-themed "Kono Oto Tomare" got me crying buckets. "Moriarty the Patriot" made me realised I love hearing Hatanaka Tasuku sing anime theme song so that brought me back to re-watching "Naka no Hito Genome: Jikkyochu" (realised how much I love his character there lol). I really love the colour scheme used in "Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun"! I was really impressed by Kakihara Tetsuya's deep voice in "Gibiate" but that anime is a mess - I don't recommend it. Also just realised this year that I've been in love with Ono Yuki's voice before I even know it's him...? It's so weird. How could I forget that he's Hori-senpai in "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun"!!! Also, I'm strangely in love with "Fugou Keiji: Balance UNLIMITED" :P. My dark side finds Anos from "The Misfit of Demon King Academy" very appealing (and having his seiyuu sing the main theme song in some episodes was.. perfection) - thanks to that one kill&revive scene in Episode #1. He's a very charming character really.
✿ Still gets annoyed watching horror movies nowadays. I always find something to complain about.
✿ Enjoyed watching "Avenue 5" so much. Its dark humour is my type of humour XD.. And they have this one scene that, to me, symbolised the situation months before when people are refusing to wear masks in public overseas. OMG that scene was brilliant at showing top-notch human stupidness .. now I wanna go watch it again..
✿ I actually enjoyed the 2nd season of "Lost in Space" more than the 1st one! And that's just because I loved playing the "Mass Effect" game series... I'm also a fan of Toby Stephens (after seeing his Mr Rochester).. If I have my own robot, I'm going to name him Legion!

Okay, I'll stop here since that's all I can think of for now lol

Yellow Pear Tomatoes

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog images | Gardening Stuff | Personal Photos

My first tomato plant. Why would I, who seldom eat vegetables and fruits, plant this?

Because I was curious of its taste.

I actually harvested (feels so weird using that word lol) three but one got eaten by me (and my mother). It tasted like how cherry tomatoes usually taste like.. a bit tangy but not too much. Somewhat salty sweet aftertaste...?  The one I ate was probably not fully ripened (I think) although it's already yellow.

Seeds are from Iris Gardening via Shopee (not in stock at this moment).

Sunflowers

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog images | Gardening Stuff | My Fangirl Side | Photo Stories

I tried planting sunflowers few months ago. My first try didn't end up well (Nowadays, I keep reminding myself that they need full sun!). This is my second try.

BTW, I got my sunflower seeds (Autumn Beauty) from Iris Gardening via Shopee.

This photo was taken a week ago.

Today, it looks like this.

But...
Oohh.. there's another one!

This is my other sunflower.. just bloomed this week.

【 Gardening 】
You've heard the stories. The stuff people do during MCO, quarantine, isolation, lockdown etc... I didn't think I experience THAT much changes compared to last year but I confess.. I got bitten by the gardening bug this year haha. I don't consider myself a follower of fads but when I do, I get into it so bad. Now I seek for TV shows that feature plants and gardening and manga with gardening theme.. and I started getting interested in creating botanical paintings (which is fine with my being into art recently but still...)..

Actually, it's not really new to me because I grew catnip for my cats in 2017-18. They are still alive - one flowered twice this year - although I recently pruned them to like 1/3 of their original size. I also still have my aloe vera that was purchased in 2017 at the Asia City tamu. It almost died (along with my rosemary, who didn't make it RIP) but in the end it survived and gives me aloe vera babies (they are so cute!) since then. Probably have to move some of them to their own pots because they are getting cramped again in their pot.

I feel like I should include some photos at this point... but I'm quite nervous because I might jinx it. Maybe in the future?

Anyway, so yeah... gardening bug... now I'm browsing for seeds online instead of books and stationery (yay?) but seeds can be expensive too because of the shipping fees. Why seeds you ask? Because it's cheaper.. and I seldom go out anymore (hah!).. uhh.. Also, I'm interested in plants that might not be available in nurseries. I get seeds for fruits/vegetables that I want to eat, plants with blue/purple flowers (it's oddly specific but yeah), & aromatic/fragrant plants... I'm also interested in weird-looking ones.. and most succulents fall under this haha (want to get some lithops in the future).

【 Anime 】
I've been watching more anime recently and one of it is "A Destructive God Sits Next to Me". The anime is so chaotic!!  ...but honestly, it's just the kind of thing I'm into *almost makes me wonder why I took so long to watch it haha*. As I watched more episodes, I find myself relating so much to one of the characters, Tsukimiya, that I had to check if he's an xNTP.. I found one site that says he's an ENTP.. which just makes me smile..er..laugh more. No wonder!

I also re-watched the first 3 seasons of Natsume Yuujinchou and now catching up with the latest seasons that I haven't watched. Got reminded again how much I love the manga...

【 Youtube 】
Saw some "Fall Guys" playthrough recently and it made me want to play too! It's so weird how fast I got interested in it (apparently I skipped some of Pocky Sweets' videos of him playing it.. lol).. I'm already planning on buying it soon. I'll just tell myself it's a birthday present for me haha

August 3rd at random

Posted in: 2020 posts | Art Stuff | at random | Life | My Paranoid Side | My Worrying Side | Piano

I'm sick again. For the second time of the year. Arggh! Fortunately, I'm feeling better today.. my 4th day I think? Last Saturday, I felt a bit hard to breathe.. it was like gasping for air after going for a run. I never had that before but yes, my nose was runny and stuffy since Friday, so I think it's not that weird. I probably slept in a bad posture the night before. Hmm. Anyway.. that was enough to remind me again of the bad cold/flu thing I had last year and scared me enough not to get out of the house again. I did go out several times since the time we were allowed to but I really don't want to go out too much. It's.. dangerous out there.

★★★★★
I should be teaching piano this month but I cancelled it because I don't think it's the wise thing to do after seeing what's happening recently.

★★★★★
I didn't mention it here and it was really done in a spur of the moment.. but... I tried doing Watercolour Month and it was interesting! It forced me (in a good way) to paint something everyday in July. Of course, my knowledge of using paint only consists of the poster colours I did in school...
BTW aren't Posca Pens basically Poster Colour Pens? ポスターカラー Posuta Kara - > PosuKa -> Posca?.. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy poster colour paint set (of course.. I'm aware that there are some that are expensive)?
Okay back to the topic... I didn't really do anything big or grand.. most of them are small!.. it's just something like an art diary thing. And I experimented a lot because I just jumped in blind and tried something I'm not that familiar with. It was fun nonetheless!

Something Something

Posted in: 1st post | 2020 posts | Art Stuff | Books | Interest: TV | Seiyuu Love | Tweets | Twitter

I totally forgot to post in June!

Oh well, there aren't much to talk about anyway.

Some updates:
  • Finally received the book I purchased via Bookurve at the end of February last month. My Dijun crush has died down now although it might rekindle again since apparently "Eternal Love of Dream" is going to be shown on 8TV this week. In June, my mother suddenly joined me in watching "Love and Destiny" and after it ended I really wanted her to see Feng Jiu & Dijun again.
  • Tried out Google's video call services(?) with my bestfriend. Lol.. honestly I won't have much opportunity to use them (except with my family) so I took advantage of that and tried all. I used a desktop computer and my phone as the "camera". I'm fond of Meet (for now)... Hangouts' should be okay but I don't really like to hear my voice echoing after I say something (I already muted anything like when I use Meet). Duo was okay too but I can't use it on the computer (no camera).
  • One of my favourite seiyuu (Konishi Katsuyuki!) opened his own Youtube channel where he streams his gameplay. I got super excited when I saw him playing "Death Stranding" although I just realised the existence of his channel a month later. He was super low-key about it! I happened to see his tweet about going live so that's how I knew. If I remember correctly, in one of his DS playthrough, he was asked if he's finally becoming a youtuber [as in making it a career] and he said he didn't think of it that far. He just wants to play video games together with his audience.
    • While he plays, he talks about a lot of things so watching him is kinda relaxing haha... He's quite attentive too [I'm guessing this is because of the nature of his work?] - he often sees the chats left when he's livestreaming and he will make some comments on it.
Some thoughts:
  • Art.. The urge is back! And since I talked a bit about it with my bestfriend.. I feel like painting something recently.
  • Been thinking about adding more photos in this blog. That would make it easy to post something in the future.
  • Also, recently I've thought of compiling my old tweets here [for my own benefit] lol.. so hard to navigate to the oldest (although it's easy to make a twitter search) now. The idea came when I checked my Twitter archive and found interesting tweets from the past. It was fun to see them again.

A Glimpse of the Past & More Books

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog images | Books | My Fangirl Side | Online Shopping | Online Shopping Bag | This Made My Day

From the past (May 1st)...

I just had a glimpse of my old self. My old teenage self. Oh gosh.

So.. I just checked my e-mail and saw one from the person I'm buying from on Youbeli (mentioned in a previous post). They wanted to confirm if I still want to use the same address to ship the books. At first, I was overjoyed because hey~ they managed to procure the books (I'm guessing they get it via Taiwan?) #OMG... then I became mildly panicked. The e-mail is written in Chinese. It doesn't matter. I can read it.. and I can use GTranslate to confirm that I read it correctly BUT... it reminded me a lot of when I was still an avid fan of Alec Su, it was quite scary!

I've mentioned before that I learnt to read Chinese via the unusual route (sometimes using haphazard methods). During that time, I purchased a lot of Chinese magazines to find information (mostly photos lol) on Alec Su. That experience gave me some kind of complex regarding using the language in.. erm.. business situation? For example, I would be so afraid to buy Chinese magazines and books at local shops because they might talk to me in Chinese.. I guess I still have a bit of that now. I know I've managed it better in the recent years but whoa.. never thought I'll replying to an e-mail in Chinese today.

It's not really a big deal haha... Since I'm in my zombie mode in the morning, I kept it short and simple. Fortunately my brain was still capable of reminding me that. Just something like 'as long as the message got through', you know? I don't even want to know anymore if I used weird vocab because urgghh... Probably sound like a robot but who cares anymore! They already e-mailed back that they'll mail them later... I think.. I don't want to open my e-mail too long... Of course..

Today...
My previous post was on April 25th - so exactly a month later? *oops*

I actually received the books on May 11th. I knew it would take a long time (their estimation was 4-6 weeks but was informed later it would be longer. Also, it's before MCO took place).

And yes. They're the same books I posted about in the previous post. The only difference is, these are in Traditional Chinese. Why, you ask? Because the other is how it was originally published and the other is the one... I can *self-proclaimed* read better in. Just call me a crazy fan if you want.

Also received these... My 2nd purchase from Gempak Starz!
Girlish Number light novels (MY) and Summer Wars manga (EN)

March Leftovers.

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog images | Books | I Need to Talk About My Dreams | My Dark Side | My Worrying Side | Online Shopping | Online Shopping Bag | Shopping Bag

It's almost May. I didn't post anything in March... *sigh*

I want to say it's been normal... lately. I mean.. I've been living a semi-hikikomori life since end of 2018.. so it's nothing I'm not familiar with. But... I guess that's not a guarantee? My sleep schedule is being crazy again (is it due to the weather? The same thing happened around this time last year). Been having crazy, weird dreams.

It has been intense... I'm trying not to feed that worrying side of me. Also, not a big news reader here but I've been opening Google News... occasionally. Not a fan of newspapers.. they sometimes affect me emotionally. I really don't like to get angry every time I read about people being stupid or saying stupid things. How can I be angry when I always say I feel numb? I don't know! I suspect that I still have some hidden anger towards some ex-colleagues since I quit my job.. or that's just my side that likes to hold grudges.. I don't know! I just know that I'm a mean person and sometimes I wish bad things happen to people who mistreated me in the past!

Sorry.. for that negative opening. I congratulate you if you made it this far. Anyway. Here's something I'm supposed to post in March. Before the MCO, I managed to pick up my package at Popular City Mall. I tried buying their books online and since I'm a cheapskate I asked for delivery to their store (store pick-up). Oh yes, you can do that. I think it's actually a nice option because I don't have to find the books myself (yes, they are chinese novels XD). Feels like I should profess my love for Dijun here but I.. the excitement is long gone XD. At this moment, I'm still waiting for related books via Bookurve & Youbeli... I don't really mind if they take longer (probably have to get from overseas), I just hope they could get hold of them because I really, really want them.

Here are more stuff added to my manga collection. I know the left one looks scandalous haha but I assure you they are... wholesome. The one in the back is an issue of Hana to Yume with Namaikizakari on the cover. I had to get that volume of Queen's Quality because duh.. drama CD!

Usually I would buy my copies of Hyouka & Bungo at Popular but this time I had to get Hyouka #12 from the publisher especially since they offer free shipping now. Yes, there was a delay but I don't care! As long as I get the thing, I'm fine with it! I consider myself an experienced online shopper (been doing it for at least 15 years already) and I've built up a lot of patience over those years... you have to be really patient when buying things online because the estimated time of arrival is never accurate. You have to be ready for them to reach you earlier or later.

Didn't expect to post something this long but I'm glad I did. Hopefully I'll find the motivation to post more in the near future.

This Post Doesn't Make Sense

Posted in: 2020 posts | My Dark Side | My Worrying Side | Personal Thoughts | University

Sigh.
Where do I begin?

Honestly, been feeling & recalling... negative stuff lately...

I suddenly recall some particular occurrence in university. I remember feeling down for some time and then next week I was happy(?), full of hopes "I feel good! I can do this!"... then.. got back to feeling down days after that. At first, I thought "oh so I'm not that depressed then"... but... deep inside I know what I was going through wasn't normal. It didn't help that googling the symptoms brought me to the idea of bipolar disorder... hah! As if!....

...but...what if...

*silence*

Yeah.. so I recalled about that thing.. and another thing from primary school days. I... well.. how do I say this... in my mind, I see it as "I was bullied" but it was more like I got pushed into doing things I didn't want to...? I used to be that kid that couldn't say no & probably came across as a pushover to some people.. It was only in secondary school that I became braver at saying no. But not all the time. Even now... if I could avoid saying no, I will try to anticipate if I might fall into such events and act accordingly (might even involve manipulation)... in short, the current me is sensitive to hints of bullying/taking advantage of me...

...so it's probably obvious at this part.. Yes. My mind is going all directions and I'm talking gibberish... just hoping that putting these stuff down here help these rushing thoughts slow down..

Another thing... recently, I'm worried of getting bored easily. I don't care if I'm boring to others (har-har).. not that.. I'm worried that when I do something I enjoy, I would lose interest in it soon. This worry is real and I feel stressed over this more than I should..

15th Blog Anniversary Post

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog anniversary | Family | My Paranoid Side | Old Blog

This blog is 15 years old~

First post published in this blog was from Feb 5th, 2005. I never really post anything here about its anniversary but wanted to do so for this year because... 15 years is a long time.

The original url was different (it had sth to do with life in Sabah *wink*) but I moved most of the posts from the old blog to this one (ファイト!)... it's just "fight" (aka faito) in Japanese with an [added] oh at the end.. I don't know much Japanese at that time but I loved Yankumi's "Fight-Oh!" in Gokusen so that was a big influence to me. The blog tagline is "Fighting for Life" which still rings true today (despite my gloomy posts recently).

Hah. Didn't think I would talk much about this blog history... Well, not that much to talk about. I was pretty active in updating the blog the first 8 years... I didn't post anything at all in year 2016 and 2018.

★★★★★

After January ended, my family are back at our old church. The last place we went to was in City Mall. Honestly, I really enjoyed visiting other churches... but my father highly discouraged this because "you need to have a main church where you can get support when you need one".. he said that long time ago, which was why I was amused when he said he's getting a month of vacation this year.

My sister is back in KK and I plan to bring her to the Tanjung Aru state library... so that I can borrow and read books instead of spending more on books... says the person who just bought P&P Chiltern edition online last CNY...

...and I'm sick. Again. After 3 months I last got sick. After I got vaccinated with influenza vaccine early January. I read online that it's still possible (at least it shouldn't affect me much?) but this made me extra cautious again about meeting people. How do I know this is the viral kind? Because if it's bacterial, I would still have sore throat few days later. But I'm worried that I would get infected by the bacterial kind after I get better (like last year). It's weird that I get sick because I spend most of my time at home... almost like a recluse.. not meeting..people that often.. which is why I look at my family with almost-accusing eyes nowadays...

This Escalated to Something Else...

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog images | Books | Death | My Dark Side | Online Shopping Bag | Personal Photos

Tumblr of the Day:

I finally published the draft post from 2012 that I mentioned in a post last month. It's here: "The Real Final Post of 2012".

Added these to a list I made recently already so it's not really a surprise. Here's more pre-loved books purchased via Carousell! *sigh*

Michael Crichton's "The Andromeda Strain" & "Travels".

Today's church was in Asia City! I even took a photo of chairs~! As usual, I was sleepy as well (please..don't say a thing about that). I like it! I'm not into business of rating churches - I'm just trying to describe my feelings at that moment..but yeah.. somewhat it reminded me of the youth conferences my church hold [sometimes] in KDCA and a bit of my old, first church in Likas. The energy, the music! In the beginning, there was the usual announcement of silencing your phones and stuff but it sounded like the ones made when you are on the plane - I'm super amused by that.. Oh and one of their tambourine players was a male, so cool! That was rare sight for me but maybe that's only me... I don't get to experience going to other churches that often...

I just want to say I love using the Snapseed app.
.
Do I sound happy?

I don't think so because...

...I noticed that I've been having more morbid moments this month. Seriously, it's the beginning of the year...what's happening in my head? Maybe I should stop meeting people? Maybe I should stop talking to people? Twice I met a doctor, they basically asked, "Aren't you afraid that you'll get sick?"... Inside, I would answer, "Please just let me die in peace." And now when people ask me some positive future stuff, inside I would answer, "What's the point, I'm just going to die anyway." Today, I finally acknowledge that these frequent moments are getting disturbing... *long sigh* I just need to get this out.

So... this was kind of a weird post... but you know, this is just like what's happening in my mind. It jumps from here to there, sometimes I would feel good and then down next.. sometimes... I wonder if I'm even alive? Am I even human?

13 Books I Purchased Recently

Posted in: 2020 posts | Blog Meme | Books | Diana Wynne Jones | Jane Austen | Michael Crichton | My Fangirl Side | Online Shopping | Shopping Bag

Another Thursday 13 post!
  1. The Wrong Number (R. L. Stine) - I want to try reading the Fear Street series again.
  2. Tuesdays with Morrie (Mitch Albom) - Curious.
  3. Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (Helen Fielding) - Curious. Saw the movie.
  4. A Rainbow Feast: New Asian Short Stories. (edited by Mohammad A. Quayum) - Random pick.
  5. Frankenstein (Mary Shelley) - Curious.
  6. Eaters of the Dead (Michael Crichton)
  7. Timeline (Michael Crichton)
  8. Airframe (Michael Crichton)
  9. The Andromeda Strain (Michael Crichton)
  10. Travels (Michael Crichton)
  11. The Kalahari Typing School for Men (Alexander McCall Smith) - Bargain corner.
  12. Bungo Stray Dogs #16 [Gempak Starz] (Asagiri Kafka, Harukawa Sango)
  13. The Decagon House Murders (Ayatsuji Yukito) - Curious.
I'm a big Michael Crichton fan so that's the reason why there are so many. This month, I ended up buying many pre-loved books of his on Carousell. I seriously need to stay away from that site/app. I haven't received the first and last book via mail. Bungo and Hyouka are two main mangas I buy regularly because they are available locally in English. I've learnt enough from experience that if I want those manga, buy it as soon as possible because they will be out of stock in the future (had to turn to Carousell to get a used version of Hyouka #1).

Weird combination? I usually go by my current mood when I pick what to read. Generally, I like a good story but I'm also the same person who prefer Michael Crichton, Diana Wynne Jones & Jane Austen' writing styles... what does that mean? I also don't know. *sighs in confusion*

Hopefully I won't buy anymore books in the near future...

LibraryThing and some other things.

Posted in: 2020 posts | blog images | Books | Family | Life: Anecdotes | Personal Photos | Shopping Bag

Something good happened today. More specifically, in 2014? I just realised it today OMG. I've been looking for a way to keep track of books I own.. since over 10 years ago. For now, I'm using Goodreads and Libib. Today, I decided to check out LibraryThing again. Again, you say? I made an account before in 2009 but I never fully utilise it because there's a limit of books you can add to your catalogue for a free account. Then there was an e-mail I received in 2014 which I probably thought was to urge the users to change their password... apparently I didn't read until the part where they give lifetime account to those affected. LIFETIME! I might use it starting today~~~!

Yeah... I'm a bit weird. I use Goodreads to track my reading progress (so I don't really keep a list of books I own there.. more for books I have read). Libib is for any books I encounter (owned and not owned i.e. books I read in libraries). Now I'm going to use LibraryThing for books I own (& maybe to record books that exist in my house). I also plan to make a post on my bookshelf here and a blogspot page with a [static] list of books I own. The list will be for my convenience - something to refer to when buying books - and will be updated regularly. Probably not going to share the link to my LibraryThing here because... my 2009 self decided to use.. let's say.. an anagram of my real name for the account. Another reason why I'll make a blogspot page for that!

Yesterday, my family and I went to church at 1Borneo. Yeah... that was an interesting experience too. Somehow I can feel that the energy there was livelier or something. Probably because they have many students (the church is near to several higher learning institutions)... Haha it might be too much for the introverted me. We had the opportunity to participate in their version (it's not that different though) of holy communion. I was greatly amused by their golden-coloured communion ware - even the cups are golden! *The things I notice lol*

What I purchased at Popular (Imago) last Saturday [Jan 11th]. Latest volume of Bungo and another PwP book from that bargain corner. Didn't find much books of interest in this particular Popular outlet except this (I have the first book in the series given by someone years ago).

Sorry, Mr Postman...

I had a weird dream yesterday. I don't know for what and why but I had to prepare a song to sing...? Which made me think after I woke up that I don't really have a song that I can sing until the end lol... Should I find one or two songs just in case I have to sing in the future?

My mother received this at work. I kind of like the taste.
It's funny that some were already missing an eye or ear when I opened it.
Preloved books purchased via Carousell (RM10 each including shipping) received yesterday. More books for my Michael Crichton collection!
Had a short conversation(?) with the PosLaju postman XD. He called my other phone (that has a damaged screen) when I wasn't at home for another package few days ago and no one answered. I explained that the phone is broken and I forgot to tell my sister (bought through her Shopee account) to change my number. Fortunately he wasn't heartbroken, he said. Okay... I guess... ( ´д`)ン? Huhuhu.. sorry for the trouble, Mr Postman.

Twenty-twenty~!

Received the books I ordered safely on Jan 6th. I'm going to leave it wrapped until I decide to read it (hopefully this year lol).

Went to church at Centre Point last Sunday. I was sleepy as usual. Nevertheless, it was an interesting experience. I was trying hard to blend in with the curtains cosy banquet chair but my extroverted father couldn't resist raising his hand when asked about newcomers. Sigh.

After church service, we went down to the shopping part of the building to eat brunch (haha). It kind of reminded me of the time when my mother's office was on the same floor. Used to love going to fetch her from the office because we get to go window shopping at Centre Point. It was during the time when the only major shopping malls in Kota Kinabalu were Wisma Merdeka, Karamunsing & Centre Point. Is it obvious? I don't go there often nowadays. I think the last time I was there was for Popular's Clearance Farewell Sale in 2018. Eaton's doesn't feel the same like before. Kind of disappointed. Maybe because I found more ways to get books throughout these years...? I still like looking at their stationery though hehe

In my last post for 2019, I mentioned that I managed to commit to doing something at least once a day for a month. I forgot that I'm also the kind of person who could commit to not doing anything for as along as I want... So I had to drag myself to post this. I'm hoping that I'll update this blog at least once a week..? I've been having my morbid moments again with death thoughts lately ("If I die..." kind of thoughts), so writing down my thoughts in blog form might help clear my mind. Hopefully.
