Tutorial Class

Posted in: 2011 posts | Delayed Rebellious Phase (Cringeworthy) | NaBloPoMo | Personal Thoughts | University | University: Year 3

I woke up late today. Had less than an hour left before I go to campus. Was awaken by strong wind and rain hitting my windows at 4.30++am... then went back to sleep two hours later. Lol.

I hate getting up late... almost decided not go to Econ Stats tutorial class. Didn't even finish doing the tutorial questions. But I went anyway.

Fuh. I'm glad that I did. The tutorial class is conducted by the lecturer herself. It's the kind of tutorial where you ask questions... and then I managed to talk to C-kun (coursemate, same batch). Seldom have the chance to talk to him  (no reason to anyway)..

The new students are more hardworking than us in the past. Proactive too, just the way most lecturers like them to be. Not necessarily intelligent but still admirable.

I think this is the first time I feel happy after a tutorial class ended. Coming to tutorial class is a battle to me. It's harder then attending lecture classes.

A stranger (don't know how he got into our faculty) approached me at the faculty lobby. He was promoting a new restaurant in Damai Plaza (something ristorante) by offering erm.. RM29.90 membership cards (I think) in exchange for their buy 1 free 1 coupons. The place sounds interesting but I wasn't interested. The frugal Nino in me deemed this offer as something I don't need. Oh. And he reeked of tabacco. I feel very strongly for smokers. He was smiling when he talked about the restaurant but I think he should've eaten some breath freshener or brush his teeth or something. He shouldn't assume every potential customers is okay with smokers. I really hate the smell. Mind you, I wouldn't complain this much if it was only BO problem.
