Exhilarating experience.
Started real driving lessons today.
I always wonder if the pedals are like the piano pedals.. Well, of course I'm aware that it's a totally different thing... The thing is: I thought it was hard when I first learn to use the piano pedal and I hated it - I cringed whenever I saw a song with pedal signs - but.. when I got used to it, I almost couldn't play without it! Anyway. I think that piano experience helped me a bit. Also, I thought I would have problems with clutch and changing gears but my main problem mostly was the steering wheel..haha... I have "lazy hands"! Will have lesson on this Friday again.
Funnily, I still can't picture myself as a driver. When the tutor asked me to sit in the driver's seat, I got on the seat and forgot to wear the safety belt. I know I wasn't supposed to look at the speedometer but I can't help it. I wanted to make sure I got the speed right for the gear I was using (they spoke about that a lot during the KPP). The highest I went was 30km/h (lol)... and I was driving around a neighbourhood in Taman Khidmat. There were a group of construction workers looking at us and I ignored their smiles.
Seriously, why do people smile when they see an L-plated car?

I made myself a Twitter account yesterday. I don't intend to put the link here [yet] because I'm still experimenting... Why did I do it? Hmmm... I just think it's useful for telling people you know about "What I'm doing now" kind of thing... But I haven't found anyone I know on Twitter yet. I was hoping that Ren-chan and Mel-chan would join... But I know they are extremely busy... (I'm the worst! I'm not working or studying!) I also tried using SMS... Not bad, RM0.20 per sms (I thought it was RM0.50). I actually seldom do SMS so I'm feeling quite generous with 20 cents. *smiles* Otherwise (if you think SMS is expensive), there's always the web way (or the mobile web way).
Oh yeah. I also think it's amusing to look back at what I'd tweeted (still getting used to twitter terms). It's like my own mini diary or journal. It's perfect for those who don't want to blog a long post (*winks at Mel-chan*) or don't bother to write little things (e.g. I'm watching...) in their diaries (like me). If I'm away from computer and internet connection, I can still micro-blog before blogging the real thing in my blog.

I want to do some blog-housekeeping this week!

"Boys Over Flowers" is getting on my nerves lately. When I watch "Hana Yori Dango" I always thought it has some kind of korean drama elements in it. Then, now you got the real korean drama materialized - it didn't quite work well for me. Sure, I love Jun-pyo.. (I've always like Tsukasa's character anyway).. but I found it hard to like Jan-di. Very hard. Ji-hu too. I only seem to like him when he has that Ken-zou haircut. The music wasn't that impressive either (I haaaatttee the "Paradise" song but surprisingly could accept "Lucky"). Of course, I'm going to watch the drama to the end anyway (you can't review a drama if you don't finish watching it). It's just that I can't help thinking if this wasn't because of the HYD story, I would have stop watching it in the middle. Hmmm...

A few years ago, I already watched "The Good Old Days". I have the opportunity to re-watch it now that NTV7 is airing it. I always have been amazed by Amy Chan's character, Sau Hau in there. Now I can safely say she's my favourite character in the drama. She is loyal, helpful, diligent, humble, innovative, smart, resourceful...the list goes on. I think I've subconsciously keep in mind all these years (since Primary School) wanting to be like her.

My review blog seem dead. I must be harsh to myself - Don't slack off!
