It's the title but this might be a quite lacking Carlotta post lol

So... My main account lost the 50/50 to Encore (BIG SIGH) so basically the astrites I got through Rinascita exploration were all used to get a guaranteed Carlotta. I guess I could have just move on after losing... but I got really stubborn about it because my main account don't have a Glacio DPS (no, I'm not forgetting Lingyang on purpose! That account don't have Lingyang yet!).  

Fenn account was able to get Carlotta (guaranteed, if I remember correctly) and her signature weapon. I only got the signature weapon for my RuRu account (since Aalto & Chixia can use it).

Anyway~ haven't started her companion quest... soon!

27/30 for last ToA. It caught up with me lol. I've been using Havoc Rover & Xiangli Yao often in the middle tower so... yup, definitely, caught up with me alright. It's a big reminder for me to find another echo set for my Mortefi. He is still using Yao's leftover-unused Lingering Tunes set (hey, it works!). I did have a Moonlit set for him but the result wasn't as good as the mis-matched(?) Lingering set... look, these past few months, I've been prioritising building resonators and weapons over echoes (only sometimes, when I have enough materials) so I've just recently started caring more about echoes. Which, on second thought, is kind of a blessing in disguise because we get Nightmare echoes in 2.0!

I might be in the minority here about this but I like it just fine. I like the stories (including the lore) in 1.x so it's just pretty much "business as usual" for me. To me, Zani is just the new Yangyang - both are characters that I once in a while fast-forward their dialogues (after reading them myself). I do like her JP voice but I was too curious about what's happening next lol. I'm not doing that much in my Fenn account (English voice playthrough) since I already know the story. 

Anyway, I don't get why people have to talk bad of 1.x's stories (even call it the beta version) and basically put 2.0 on a pedestal and worship it. [Speaking of that.. wow, I really read too many RoFan manhwa with evil saintesses/churches/temples because I'm already very suspicious of them from the start. Like, f*ck, I have no chill regarding this - especially after going to Penitent's End - I usually absolutely hate those in manhwa. I'm totally one who will go on the Pilgrim's Sail if I'm a Ragunnesi. Of course, I would still listen to their side of the story (I'm expecting some plot twists here so I'm excited~) but I'm forever looking at them with the eyes that say "You're suspicious as f*ck".] Hmm... actually, I don't really care if they hate 1.x... I guess I'm more bothered about WuWa content creators arrogantly generalising that all players hate 1.x.

On being able to skip to Rinascita instantly, I recommend against it. I think Rinascita is more enjoyable after experiencing 1.x but that's just my two cents (oh well).

Quite off-topic: Oh yeah, I realised you can just block accounts on Reddit and you won't see their posts or comments in subreddits... so I probably won't need to avoid r/WutheringWaves (like I did during Camellya's banner) when it's Zani's turn. I don't hate the characters (more towards neutral/indifferent really), I'm just not comfortable with some of the community's reactions to them.

Yinlin is a monster
In a good way, of course! Damn! I guess getting her finally paid off? Pairing her with Xiangli Yao is so, so good. Finally got the 5-star rectifier from the standard weapon banner. Explored Rinascita with her (to max out her intimacy level) with Rover & Shorekeeper. I managed to kill so many red enemies with her help (although sometimes I had to switch Rover out with Yao) - it was a blast! And I'm still in the middle of getting her better echoes (well, for now it's the nightmare version of Tempest Mephis). My point is: she's still great even with eh-good-enough echoes... gosh, I need to reconsider getting similar sub-DPS like her for my DPS resonators (yes I totally pull for her just for my Xiangli Yao :P). Zhezhi has to wait for another rerun... I'm completely out of astrites because of Carlotta.
