This was a roller-coaster ride. Very engaging story. I guessed correctly some of the plot twists (including a major one), so when it got confirmed I was smiling and screaming "I knew it!" inside lol

...also cried a bit because why can't they be friends??? (T_T)

Anyway. Phew. I think this is what people meant when they say a book is plot-driven? It felt really, heavily plot-driven. Interesting storytelling.


This arrived today!

It's the Malay translation of "Pride and Prejudice"! I just randomly found it while searching for Jane Austen on Shopee. Just got released in February (unfortunately I couldn't get the bookmark anymore - I think that was for those who pre-ordered last month? Oh well~)

Today, a cousin came to "upgrade" the electrical panel (I think that's what it's called?) at home. So I think we were without electricity for at least an hour...?

Oh yes, I already went past the two novels (that I said earlier on that I'll skip). I just need less than an hour to finish what's left.

At least I don't have to keep renewing my loan (we only get a week here *sigh*) anymore after I finish this...
