Pick-A-New-Book Jar

I want to be optimistic today and say that the reading schedule method is working... for me. Yes, there are two books not up to schedule at this moment (lol) but it helps to have a reading schedule. Might finish last week's Pick-A-New-Book "Green Island" today... or tomorrow. I think that's a nice improvement because usually I'll procrastinate and it will take weeks and months to finish them...

Anyway, time to pick a new book from the jar.
*shakes jar*
I got... Stieg Larsson's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"... was hoping to get something short but I guess that's not happening today *sigh*...
At least it's mystery..? Been wanting to read mystery-themed books recently so this is perfect timing. BUT it's over 500 pages...
So, something about about this... Saw the movie before on TV. Found the book from Popular's bargain corner in 2019 (mentioned in a post but I didn't include the name of the books). Although I usually avoid popular books, most of the time, I would be interested in reading the books if I happen to see the movies/TV shows/serial dramas first.
