Pick-A-New-Book Jar
Today, it rained in the evening too.
Ordered some western-style food via FP. Tried pickled capers for the first time (it was in the salad). I surprisingly liked it. Had to google to know what that thing is lol. Thought it was some kind of nut at first.

Received these yesterday.
Fiction: "Hard to be a God" by Arkady & Boris Strugatsky and "The Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula K. Le Guin.
Non-Fiction: Two books on Italian grammar. One visual Italian dictionary. One German phrase book/mini dictionary for travellers.
↑ They are like addition to this... I think?
So, about those language books. I don't know when my mind decided this, but apparently I want to learn Italian (though I already mentioned this before) and German now (besides re-learning French)...? I'm considering Russian too but that might be too much for now.
My target is to be able to read and pronounce words properly (so that I can talk to myself :P). That target part is important, because that means you don't have to waste time asking me if I'm able to converse with anyone in the future (highly doubt I would be able to use the skill like that) OR if I can even do it without going to proper classes(?). I'm fine as long as I get to read their books and maybe understand their shows without subtitles. "I've learnt languages through radical(?) & haphazard ways so why not experiment with this one too", is how I see this.
Might as well pick up some languages while I stay a recluse at home, right?

Since those fiction books arrived before today, I get to put it in the jar. So which book will I get today?
*picks a title from jar*
I got "Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder.
Oooh a 400-plus-page book, huh? I heard it's not easy to read this because of the philosophy theme... I'm going to read it anyway. But I might take longer than a week to read this.
