Reading
Lately, I've had the urges to go out of the house... to go to a bookstore.
It's just going to be that. Go out to get more books. Been eyeing the books from the MacMillan Collectors Library series again and I really want "Jane Eyre"... and [recently,] "Dracula". I know Popular has this but I'm not sure if they still have them in stock.
TV
Anyway, funny thing happened last night. It's not a big deal but I just find it really funny that I thought yesterday was Saturday, so I missed watching my 7pm Cantonese drama XD. When I was reading before bed, I suddenly recalled that it's Thursday and I didn't watch the drama at 7pm as usual. It's funnier when I recall more.. I actually wanted to watch TV at 7pm but didn't switch on the TV because I'm not interested in the weekend 7pm drama (still thinking it was Saturday). My body remembers the routine :P
Reading
It's Friday and I don't know if I'm going to finish "I'd Die For You" by the end of the week. Been having fun reading super leisurely at my own pace recently. I'm crushing over Fitzgerald's writing again so I'm savouring this book at a much slower pace than my usual reading time. I've been doing the same with "The Changeling" which I thought I might have difficulties finishing at first. The chapters in "The Changeling" are more uniform in length so it's easy to think "I'll stop reading after one or two chapters." Now I'm already near the end. I would not be surprised if I extend another week to finish the other book.
I've been ignoring "Something Happened" really hard at the same time. I want to DNF it but I still want to know the ending. So I added a new tag ("Semi DNF") on Goodreads for that book. The auto-add tag thing made me put the book back into "Want to Read" shelf XD. Now my reading progress resets to a new one which is crazy lol. I'll take this as a sign that I should deal with the book soon :D
