Irisu memuji bakat aku semata-mata untuk mempergunakan aku. Caranya berkesan dan akhirnya aku cipta satu karya yang memuaskan hatinya*.-Oreki Houtarou, "Dalang Di Sebalik Tirai (Kedua: Kenapa Tak Tanya Eba?)"
[*Irisu praised my talents solely to make use of me. Her methods were effective and eventually, I created a masterpiece that satisfies her]
That's from the second light novel of the Kotenbu series (I keep forgetting that Hyouka is the first novel and not the name of the whole novel series).
Irisu-senpai still makes me a bit uncomfortable. In the anime, I don't like watching what she did to Houtarou. But... I get what she did. I might had done something similar in the past but I want to believe that I'm not as bad as her. That's too much effort (therefore troublesome :P)... I'll just see her as a character that reminds me of this: "I could've been something worse".
Reading "Bridget Jones's Diary" next.
