Some updates:

I finally finished one of the leg warmers. Started the other one although I might have to take it really slow this time because I'm feeling some pain in the base of my thumb. I don't think it has to do with knitting but continuing to knit will just make it worse. So, baby steps. Anyway, the end result was predictably uneven XD. I'm trying a new cast-on method that is stretchy but I probably made it too loose. Still wearable though. I'll try again next time.

Also... I finished reading this book today ↓↓. I've been experimenting with the things I read lately. So... I thought some short stories will be perfect because at that time I wanted something short to read. And oh gosh, this was such a chore to read. It's just me and my preferences, I guess. I used to think that I'm pretty open to all kind of stories but lately I realised how harsh and cruel I can be towards books that I read. If it doesn't interest me, I will be annoyed until the end (if I even make it to the end)...  

I also found that I'm more impatient in my reading nowadays. A wall of text just to describe something that's not really important later always makes me frown when I see it. I get it.. it's "worldbuilding"... but.. dunno why I can't stand reading that now. I'm just like, "Just get to the point, please." 

Now I'm excited to start mystery-themed books! But.. I'm not going to have high hopes because I don't want to be very disappointed later. So *tunes down*.. just be a little bit excited, me.
