What a coincidence. We've been having that more lately. It was also raining heavily today :(

And that annoyed me today because that's probably the reason we're not getting water supply again... the Water Department haven't been updating their notices but I suspect it's due to muddy/murky(?) water because that's what usually happen when we have too much rain. I hope they'll give their official excuses soon so that I can curse [them] properly in my mind. 
Edit 7/3: There's still no updates to the notices section (honestly, I think they gave up since it hasn't been updated since May) but their news(?) section did mention the Kasigui water treatment plant (it's closed/under maintenance due to flood). *long sigh* Our area isn't in Penampang but we're near so I guess we're also affected by this... it can't be helped then 😶 

A post about books I received around that time. Among those books, I've only finished reading "The Poems of Nakahara Chuya" :P (and "Jane Eyre" of course, although I haven't reread it)

Not going to pick a new book from the jar today. I'm pretty much still in a [physical books] reading slump so I'm going to make it easy for myself.

Oh my... that was the month I started having that reading slump lol

What's the status today, you ask?

As I said before, it's pretty much just mood reading nowadays :P. I'm learning to accept that I'm not reading like when I was younger. I'm also thinking of doing more "irresponsible" reading... which I imagine would be 'start many books, finish few'...? It's how I've been reading my manga/manhwa currently. I don't even care if it's an ongoing series, I can just read something else before I return to that series. 

Also just realised that I do DNF books, only not books I've purchased (if I do, I do it reluctantly)... *sigh* but I will still consider myself someone who rarely DNF books because I rather hate-read.

Anyway, I'm kind of a pessimistic reader at this moment. I question almost all books (especially the popular ones and/or regularly covered by booktubers) whether they are good because I don't feel hopeful.
