This post was supposed to be published yesterday but got pushed back to next day (today) due to yesterday's post. Totally wasn't in celebrating mood after that post *sigh*
Received these two books yesterday.
The brown-coloured one is "Pride and Prejudice" (obviously :P). The black and white one is "人間失格" [Ningen Shikkaku or "No Longer Human"]. Both are books that were translated to [Traditional] Chinese.
Loved this edition. It's hardcover but palm-sized (which I like) so should be nice to hold while reading. |
Have always wanted a translation of "Pride and Prejudice" in other languages that I can read. Might want to get a Japanese version in the future. And French version too, if I ever manage to learn it back :D (Reading those French phrases in "The Gambler" is making me interested again) |
Okay...
So I might have not thought this through lol...
Since these two are translated literature, they might be harder to attempt-read. Which is fine, I guess. I'm aware that I've been overusing "Which is fine" recently, but that's how I really feel. I already have the original "Pride and Prejudice" which I can refer to if I have to. "人間失格" is new for me. I can access the original version on Aozora Bunko. Which... probably doesn't mean much with my current lack of Japanese vocabulary.
I'll cross the bridge when I get there :P
