I WON MY 50/50!!!

It's another red number but at least it's a win! As usual, I'll try getting her weapon but I have no high hopes.* [updates ⇊]  I do have an extra Static Mist (it was Ciaccona's) so she's practically ready... I still need to build her though. Haven't prepared much because her materials are the new type ones. The most I can prepare is Dreamless' (her weekly boss materials) and even that is limited to three times per-week. Practically had to halt Buling's skill-maxing progress to give way to Lynae.

My backup-speedrun has all the luck apparently... I think I never updated about it before but yeah that account was lucky enough to have Cartethyia and her signature weapon from months before. And in the newest patch, I pulled for Ciaccona (guaranteed, I think) and got her signature weapon early. And it also has Chisa, so I actually have a team ready. Unbuilt, though. I haven't done any 2.x main stories which means they'll stay forever Level 40 as of now LOL. Well, I can max out their weapons at least.

*Chose to leave that in. Yeah... I did a 10-pull after drafting this post and I got her signature weapon early!!! 

The latest update has removed the echo boxes (but we can claim twice of tacet field equivalent of the usual stuff)... which, honestly, is fine with me...? Seems like people are really mad on Reddit. I'm just here thinking "How did they know"? It has been a bit tiring and boring to farm those from there so I'm kind of glad they did it. 

Nowadays I've been doing the fields more because I've surprisingly ran out of echoes from 1.x areas (and I need tuners!). I've gotten stricter with my echoes so I've 'recycled' many that had sub stats I'm not fond of. I just wish the fields give more Cost-1 but I guess it's easier to get them in the overworld. And that brings back to why I do fields more now because I just kill the common TD on the way to the tacet fields.

Also, let's face it, the echo boxes stopped being relevant since the introduction of echo nests. Of course, it's the best way to prevent from getting over 3000 echoes in my backpack but at the end of the day... no use hoarding them if the sub stats going to be bad anyway. Definitely not easy to find the best one but one can start from just levelling up to 10/15 and recycle if there's no crit rate/damage stat. Don't even bother going to full Level 25.

Anyway, it seems like they also buffed Scar in the extra last boss stage...? He now has three stages (if I'm not mistaken)—two normal Scar stages + one Goat Scar stage. It's not easy to defeat him now so you can enjoy longer fight with your overpowered team :P

I had qualms about the school environment but that part is like, practically, lore. It's not like I have to go to classes XD (apparently you can enter the classes but I'm usually outside exploring lol; maybe there'll be quests later but since I haven't finish them I don't know for now). And I get it why the main story quests are kinda mixed with companion quests. Some people don't like it but I do. You won't get that much character lore if you're in a companion quest. They can show more in a main story quest and there's probably no limit (if needed). I do think it's possible to make a separate companion quest too which will focus on the more minor lore kind of thing. It does feel a bit weird that people is reacting like it's a recent thing. I think they've always have been "integrating" such stories in a main story quest since 1.x. I notice that it's usually, again, when the character lore is largely related to the main story. It just happen that there are a lot of them at the end of 2.x.  

And again I repeat it here: To me, the big main story, has always been Rover getting to know about herself. That's the biggest mystery! The others are just side quests. It will always be Rover, Rover, Rover for me. 

Anyway... what else... Oh yeah. I find Lynae's wish to stay in the academy a pure and endearing wish (considering her background). She just wanted to stay in school to learn and socialize with friends 😭—she loved being a student there, so I'm glad with that ending. The voidworm fight was super cool... it brought me back to those little moments of fighting Thresher Maw but only this time with a cooler-looking giant worm.

This is so fun! Didn't think much of it in the beginning but it's really a fun way to do exploration in Lahai-Roi. And the radio station feature is so good too. It gives you reason to just ride the bike so that you can listen to the music XD

My seiyuu-guessing game is kinda rusty but I think that's... Tachibana Shinnosuke??? The JP account hasn't posted anything about it and nothing from the seiyuu's side but people also think it's him on Reddit. It would be great if it's confirmed soon.
