Tiny WuWa Update: Well, not much to update since I regularly do that lol anyways~ Ah... I can talk about today's...? Unfortunately, I lost my 50/50 to Jianxin (damn she's S3 now lol)... and since I had enough (kinda), I continued until I got Aemeath.
I haven't checked but it was definitely near 60ish pulls... Her signature weapon will have to wait next rerun (T_T)

18th

Here we go again~ 18th anniversary of my blog url!

Also, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

[Almost post a WuWa draft post but I held back :P... well I might still make a mention]

It's not even a week into 2026 yet and I feel like so many things have happened.

*loooooooooooong sigh*

Here are some updates, I guess...

Random anecdote of the day: I was in my room when something flew around... I thought it was a cockroach. Had a screaming session, as one can predict. Then it flew out after I open the door. Back to my room... and something flew around again. So... there were two of them! Screamed again. Grabbed my glasses cautiously and realised... it's a moth. 😅 And it's only that one moth. I thought I saw one flew out but it probably never did. The thing I thought is cockroach outside was just a shadow 😑🤣

Tiny WuWa Update: I... finally... did... the last few 1.0 main story quests for my backup speedrun account! No speedrunning this time because I want it recorded. Now my Rover there can be levelled to 90. I was stuck at Level 70 for so long because I can't find a good time/space to record (mostly because I'm out of space LOL). I say record, but it's just gameplay without my voice XD. I just want to look back at it whenever I want.

Bonus: I also recorded Jiyan's companion quest~ It's best played freshly from finishing the 1.0 main story quest while you're still feeling the impact of war with the Threnodian.
I've been writing in my diary recently... The need to use [up] my pens (beginner-friendly fountain pens, gel pens etc) helps with that a bit. Use your stationery!

Last but not least... *sigh*
I'll never get used to this but here we go haaah...

One of my uncles in Tawau passed away early this year. Why does that sound awkward? It was just last week! It's practically still New Year so it's a very surprising news when his daughter informed in the family Whatsapp group. I did first hear it from my parents because I rarely check my Whatsapp anymore. Doesn't lessen the effects of reading those messages.

He was.. is.. one of my favourite uncles. It's not like we're close or anything but he's easy to talk to. Friendly and always full of smiles.

Rest in Peace, Uncle Yohanis.

"Let's Go!!!"

...was what I say in the afternoon AFTER I'm done with what I had to do *sigh*

I'm pretty much in introverted(?), procrastinating mode this week. Had to renew my library card so I sent my form online last Saturday. You have to go your chosen library branch within a week to pay the fee. I'd been procrastinating going out to do that since Monday. Didn't get a new card though, they just update it in the system. The whole thing was pretty much done in like 10 minutes.

Anyway, it's February 5th! It's the 20th anniversary of me blogging!!!

I guess the post title IS perfect for today! LET'S GO!!!

Here's to more blogging in the future! And I totally don't mean that by more blog posts... I guess just... just keep blogging... something. Oh well.

Tower of Adversity

29/30 again. Got totally lazy about it lol... I also need to get a new echo set for my Spectro Rover (this lady can totally handle the higher floors now, damn!). The new ToA is a month long so I might probably get 30/30...??? Also heard that it's easier(?) so... big maybe?

Never thought I could get this trophy lol (all thanks to Spectro Rover!)

Echo Farming
It finally dawned on me that with almost half of my resonators at level 90, I'm embarking on the "life" of echo farming... I'm getting used to it. Honestly though, getting the echoes isn't so bad. I just don't like not having enough materials to level them up *sigh*. I really hope they add a way to get echo xp only.

Companion Stories
Oooh I finished both Carlotta & Roccia's! I enjoyed both although I kinda have a soft spot for Roccia's (it's related to her trailer). It also solidifies my distaste for the Order again (there's also a bit of their involvement in Carlotta's story but hers focus more on their family matters).

I love Pero, she's so adorable XD

My Fenn account managed to get her (guaranteed, lost 50/50 to Lingyang). I'm pulling for her in my main account but I'm expecting a loss (which I've been getting a lot recently).

Here again for the 17th year of me blogging with current url~!

Honestly? Almost forgot about it lol (Also realised it's the 20th year this February, totally haven't thought of what to do on that day :P)

As usual, don't really have much to say today. Oh! I did received my Kino order (that was cancelled and re-ordered)... which consisted of these two manga:

I'm going to commit to mood reading this year.

Which is kind of a pity because Goodreads seems to have updated their reading challenge section...?

It looks like the reading challenges on Kindle (I guess they want to integrate these two more this year?)

(I'm still setting a goal this year but with a lesser number. Like, a "zero" less)

Mini WuWa Talk - 2.0 so far...

Ooooh I'm finally done with 2.0 main story quests for my main account. It ended with more questions (ahhh I'm so curious!!!). Now I'm going to do them slowly for my other accounts. So far, I'm having fun exploring Rinascita. It has a different vibe to it and the music is so nice!

Honestly, I'm not in the Zani camp (still not) but meeting her in the game was quite fun. She sounds like someone who takes off/rest day seriously :P... and she's so pretty! I love Roccia's voice (JP) and colour palette (lol). I wish I can get her but with my luck with sub DPS resonators... I don't know if I want to try. I might not even have enough astrites lol

19th Blog Anniversary Post

Honestly, I almost forgot that today is the 19th anniversary of me blogging~! Haha I only remembered because I was updating my WordPress [archive] blog...

It will be the 20th year next year! Should I do something special???
Ooh, I can do something that runs from the other blog anniversary date until today next year...

Anyway, even though it's the 19th year today... I did skip two years in this blog - no posts in 2016 & 2018 but it's still valid. I updated my both my Tumblr (microblogs, duh!) in both those years. I also posted once in 2016 in my music diary blog.

Again, not really doing anything special today lol... I'm posting today just to acknowledge that I remember XD

Some random info of the day

-- I started using Twitter@X (April) & Tumblr (October) in 2009... though I'm not really active on both sites nowadays

-- I think it was because I want to keep track the which books I was reading so I made an account on LibraryThing on 19th February 2009 (15th year coming soon!). Interestingly, I only joined Goodreads a year later in June 2010. At that time, there was a limit of books you can add on LT so I use GR more. Started using LT more often since year 2020. I added all books I own in my LT account so that I have a place to refer to avoid buying duplicate books. GR mostly have books I already read.

-- I made an account on Youtube in April 2006, months before it was acquired by Google in November the same year. I didn't really use the site as much as current day before... I think it's at least a decade later that I started using it more often (there's that one time I realise that I enjoy seeing people playing games, especially horror games XD)

7th Time Loop anime is starting tomorrow but unfortunately it's not available for Malaysian audience on Muse Asia's channel --- it makes me soooo sad! It's possible that it might be available in the future but that means I can't watch it as soon as possible.... Unless... *mumbles* it's not like I need English subs anyway *mumbles*

I am still kind of in an anime watching slump so I guess it's fine (for now) but I still don't like not having access to something I want. It just makes me obsess on it more :(

I could spend those time re-reading the light novels (and web novel!)... Re-reading the manga last month did make me want to go back to that Rishe and Arnold's world again...

Yesterday was the 17th anniversary of me blogging. I'm never good at remembering these things... it's fine anyway, it's not like I'm doing anything special. At least I remembered January's one :P

Would be more fun to make it special every 5th year increase so... 2025 for the 20th anniversary??? What could I do for that day anyway, write a memoir? (LOL) Probably won't be a big celebration or anything.

Just one thing to say.

I like this template. I got it from here. Got some problems at the beginning with the images but I managed to get it right in the end. So far no problem... What I really like is the highlighted links (I've always want that but didn't have time to learn how).

...OMG that template! XD. [You can see a glimpse of it here btw, it's the 2nd one]. Ah loved that template! The site I got it from is dead though. Feels like I want to use it again for another blog.

This template I have now has been in use since February 2009. So... Almost 13 years? Will I use a new one? Probably not going to. It was crazy modifying this one to work for me. It's like an old house in need of repairs and renovations at this moment... but it's staying!

Been thinking about this one post from last year. December 18th's "I Finished a Book". I just realised days later (after it was posted) that it could mean I finished "writing" a book. Well, I didn't mean to make a clickbaity title like that!

IF I ever do write a book, I probably will not mention it here (or just mention casually with no further information). I will definitely use a pseudonym! I don't want people to know I write things inspired by them.

Unexpectedly Long Post

I finally got that new Google chat thing. Read (belatedly) that Hangouts is changing into Chat just early this year. I'm excited although it's really nothing to be excited about lol.

Anyway, another "On This Day" post! I posted two blog posts from 2008 on this same day. And... I was talking about books and blogging so maybe I'll find something interesting.

First post... "Blabbers #1 : Post too long?"

Bwahaha! I was really into making blog post titles with such format back then. I realise now that those kind of format is only useful if you keep track or remember them. Probably better for series kind of posts that you already have an end number (like "Greece Trip #1 - Airport" / "Greece Trip #7 - Flying Back Home).

Random-ness #1... Blabbers #1? Haha... I've given them numbers so that I can keep track how many random-ness and blabbers have I posted. It's kind of organized to be labelled/categorized that way..

Oh past-me. Nope. You just made more work for me. I can't even keep track of my... our labelling system. This is weird.

As this blog is just, what, 2 months old?, I might as well make it all organized early. Hmmm. *Maybe that's where my perfectionism is.*

This got me at first, "What do you mean 2 months??" Then I realised past-me meant me using this new blog url. It used to be something else before. Then I brought the old posts (posted backdated) here.

This is the last post on that blog.
Yeah, I still keep it. But it's private now.

Decided to keep old blog url not public anymore. You'll be seeing Maru in posts that mentioned them. I'm giving a big SHHHHHH to everyone who knows it. Don't ever mention it in this blog.

And.. the perfectionist part... I know I'm still one at heart but I'm trying to tone it down. I think I said that thrice already in this blog haha. I just mentioned it in another "On This Day" post.

Oh yeah another thing. I used to (and recently do it again) write in blue colour. I don't remember if I explained it before...? Whatever you see in blue was... is... supposed to be my dark side. Apparently I've acknowledged its existence since before this post in 2019... I usually write bold, shocking things [that I usually won't say in real life] in that colour. Sometimes, it's just random stuff though.

And the rest of the post was just me talking about the formatting in my previous post.

Second post... "Book Frenzy"

I started reading books again a few months ago.

Are you me? Oh yeah, you are. LOOOOL

Jokes aside... see that? I have those moments. Those reading slumps. Oof.

I have many unread books in my bookshelf. Mostly are classic novels... I've become fond of classic ones since I read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë in Form 5 and been buying classic novels whenever I have money..

I still have many unread ones that I'm interested in reading. To me, reading classic novels require you to be in a certain mood. I have left some unfinished/dropped early because I read it during a wrong mood/time.

*sigh* I've forgotten how much reading books can be exciting and addicting. Surprisingly, I found it more fun than watching serial dramas because it's all happening in my mind - I can pick or create any cast I like according to my preference. It's a very peculiar (in a good way) experience to me actually.

Ahhh that feeling huh... Can't really relate much to that at this moment because my way of reading is changing(?). I'm still experimenting and I'll be honest, I'm so afraid of not enjoying books I loved before anymore. There's also that thing where you used to enjoy YA books but not anymore after you became an adult.

Somewhat new thing I find as I read now is, I imagine the writer or character narrating the book to me...? I guess this only happen to ones which I know how their voice sound like. Like "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" and "The Gun Seller".

There are times I have to hold myself from continue reading because I want to keep it for tomorrow... but at the same time, dying to know what happened next.

Now, regarding this, I usually just continue reading haha.. Unless I'm sleepy. Sleep takes priority.

BONUS

Yeah... so the 2 months thing was bothering me so I went to look for my first post in 2008. Horrified to find old blog link there so I removed it.

So that's another date I didn't care to remember in this blog. February 5th 2005 is when I did my first post in the old blog. Then I moved to a new blog url in 2008 and the first post was made on January 6th.

Here I am left wondering why I didn't pick a more memorable date lol. Feb 5th is understandable but I could've pick a good, easier-to-remember date in 2008.

Anyway, there's also an explanation for the blue thing there.

Another new thing - Besides me blogging, I'll have the other-me blog too. Who's other-me you ask? I'm not crazy, but other-me is an attempt to expose the "evil" or "opposite" side of me. When I am thinking, I often look at the positive and negative sides of things that sometimes I end up imagining silly and stupid things in my head. It's like the small angel-devil appearing in cartoons that says,"Do it," & "No, don't do it."

The other-me can be seen in blue.

The so-called dark side is apparently other-me, the evil/opposite side of me.

I was aware of it that early!

By the way, I also do that devil's advocate thing sometimes. I didn't know the term before but I do that thing. My mother got mad at me when I argue with her about something... that I don't even believe in. "Whose side are you on really?" I probably just do that for fun, other than looking at the positive and negative sides of things.

Blog anniversary!

It's so funny how I never blogged about this blog's anniversary in my early years of blogging. I probably don't care...? I just started posting about this last year (and I made a label for it!). I don't know what I want to do today 'cos I don't really feel special today. In fact, I'm feeling a bit down for unknown reasons. Hmmm.

What I feel strongly today... I want to do some digital clean-up. Like unfollowing Twitter accounts and unsubscribing to Youtube channels. Tagging my evernote notes properly and organize the notebooks. ... updating my other blogs (Erm..).

15th Blog Anniversary Post

This blog is 15 years old~

First post published in this blog was from Feb 5th, 2005. I never really post anything here about its anniversary but wanted to do so for this year because... 15 years is a long time.

The original url was different (it had sth to do with life in Sabah *wink*) but I moved most of the posts from the old blog to this one (ファイト！)... it's just "fight" (aka faito) in Japanese with an [added] oh at the end.. I don't know much Japanese at that time but I loved Yankumi's "Fight-Oh!" in Gokusen so that was a big influence to me. The blog tagline is "Fighting for Life" which still rings true today (despite my gloomy posts recently).

Hah. Didn't think I would talk much about this blog history... Well, not that much to talk about. I was pretty active in updating the blog the first 8 years... I didn't post anything at all in year 2016 and 2018.

After January ended, my family are back at our old church. The last place we went to was in City Mall. Honestly, I really enjoyed visiting other churches... but my father highly discouraged this because "you need to have a main church where you can get support when you need one".. he said that long time ago, which was why I was amused when he said he's getting a month of vacation this year.

My sister is back in KK and I plan to bring her to the Tanjung Aru state library... so that I can borrow and read books instead of spending more on books... says the person who just bought P&P Chiltern edition online last CNY...

...and I'm sick. Again. After 3 months I last got sick. After I got vaccinated with influenza vaccine early January. I read online that it's still possible (at least it shouldn't affect me much?) but this made me extra cautious again about meeting people. How do I know this is the viral kind? Because if it's bacterial, I would still have sore throat few days later. But I'm worried that I would get infected by the bacterial kind after I get better (like last year). It's weird that I get sick because I spend most of my time at home... almost like a recluse.. not meeting..people that often.. which is why I look at my family with almost-accusing eyes nowadays...

New Home ~a continuation~

Back to blogging!

Continuing my blog from "LiFe In SaBaH" (which is closed to public), this new blog was created because I'm moving to a new phase of life. In my opinion, having "Life In Sabah" as a blog title seems to give the impression that I'll always be in Sabah (whereas I actually do have wishes & dreams to study abroad)

I chose "Fighting for Life" as the title and use "fight-oh" in the blogspot url to remind me I still have to fight hard to reach my ambitions. Yankumi always say "Fight-Oh" (faito..Oh!) in Gokusen which somewhat motivates me whenever I watch Gokusen.

This is my first post...
why I decided to create my own blog site---to throw in all my thoughts which nobody wants to hear.

I still have that objective for this blog.
I really hate how people expect you to listen to what they say, but when I turn to them, they won't listen to whatever I say. I find it rude and often, I feel offended by these acts. But maybe I'm at fault too. I think I'm lack of communication skills (which I'm trying to improve on now)... But, they should learn to listen more than talk! That's why we have two ears and not two mouths. (A teacher in school said this during assembly)

Oh yeah, I also changed my display name to Ru.Ru. A close friend gave me that nickname last year.
