I finally started watching "Mushoku Tensei" again and the recent episodes reminded me again how this is not an anime for kids. Although I do say that for most anime. The way I explain it to my parents, "It's cartoon but it's not for kids because of the mature themes." It's a wonder I got this far watching because usually I'll drop it by now. The part Rudeus learning stuff by himself is too interesting to miss - I want to know what will happen to him in the future. Sugita-san's voice as the old reincarnation/inner heart is a plus, even if the character's a big perv.

Also, I finished reading "Sphere". So that's another book off the 13 Books List. Been craving horror things lately that I almost pick a True Singapore Ghost Stories book or one of the Fear Street books I re-discovered in January. I borrowed a Stephen King book from here but couldn't make myself read it. I have a problem with short stories recently. Sigh. Maybe I'm just not in the mood to try Short Stories books that I never read before. Anyway, I chose to read "Frankenstein" next since I'm in horror mood now haha.

Okay, back to "Sphere". I got motivated to finish reading it because I found the movie on Netflix. So I'm watching it fresh after reading the book! So far (I'm like 30 minutes in..), I like the cast they chose for the main characters. Finding it weird that Norman and Beth has that kind of history in the beginning. And Ted feels more nerdy than the Ted I know in the book (but Liev Schreiber is portraying him so I don't have any problems with that). Harry is just being Harry XD. Kind of excited to see how Samuel L. Jackson brings the character to life in the next scenes.
