Yabai

Meaning of やばい [yabai].

Feeling extra pessimistic today. 

The phrase of the day: "That's... not going to happen."

So.... I finished reading "The Double" early morning. This one I don't quite like - it reminded me too much of why I don't like "Crime and Punishment" (which needs a reread btw, but in the far future. Like very far). 

Hopes for today. Easy read. In fact, if I get anything I think is heavy, I will straight away pick a new one.

*shakes jar*

I got "Lost For Words"... *looks at GR page* literary fiction...? 

Erm... I think I'm going to try again.

*shake shake*

Second: "The Female Man".

Sci-Fi. This sounds interesting but it's probably not going to be an easy reading kind of book.  

I'm going to go for another one. Like when I picked three titles. Okay, here I go...

Third: Wyndham's "The Chrysalids".

Another Sci-Fi. I like that this has the least pages among these three... should I just pick this and move on?

I'll try reading a few pages of these books first before deciding...
