Still in the state of being distracted today. 

Yeah, I tidied up my bookmarks (finally)... and took photos... 

Now it's your turn to suffer XD look at my bookmarks.

Nothing special really. Most of them are old too (found few of them from old books at home). Some are dirty and stained (don't ask what because I don't remember). 

Oh... I guess it's good to like make a record here, huh, so that I can refer back to this post in the future. 

Set

So.. when I mentioned window-shopping for bookmarks last year... yup. This is it. 

30 bookmarks in each box

Plastic bookmarks. Unfortunately, the ones on the left are the soft plastic type. Yes, yes, also expect to see some bootleg version here (most of the cheap ones on Shopee come from China sellers) 

DIY・Re-used・Re-purposed

Some of these are from packaging boxes, clothing label, cat toys...

Name-card-sized ones (including expired cards).

Oversized ones. Cat toys again lol... and postcard-sized bookmarks.

DIY. From left: A paper I tried watercolour paint on... then my painted Tsugaru bookmark. The ones with month names on them were from an old desk calendar. Used my leftover book covers to seal them (both non-adhesive and adhesive ones).

Fandom

The "Sonria Pasta" one was originally like a keychain thing. Alec Su bookmarks were gifted by a friend.

Church-related

Most of these were from church events. 

Old

I just know that these are very old. If I'm not mistaken, the 1985 one was found in an old book. 

Free

I think the Gempak Starz is supposed to be a coaster? I'm not sure. I just decided to use them as bookmarks :P

Weird・Uncommon

Ah the size of this image is almost the same with the real thing lol.. Obviously, those three are paper clips but nothing gonna stop you from using it as a bookmark, right :P (Though to be honest, I'm wary about using them.. I always move my books around so they can either fall off or damage the pages). The red felt one is actually heart-shaped (I made it XD).

See that arrow bookmarks? Used them once and managed to get a tear on the a page :( I guess it should be used with caution and probably best not to move the book around. The wooden/bamboo(?) ones are quite thick so it can easily fall off if you move too much. This also includes that help-me hands XD. I think the Virgo one is supposed to be a bracelet..? But I usually use it as a bookmark in the past. The knitted one was actually a failed project. Planned to make something like an elastic band bookmark but it didn't work. In the end I made it like a pocket and put a thick card inside.

I love metal bookmarks! The flowery looking ones were actually quite thin...? Like I can easily bend it.

Magnetic

I was very obsessed with these in the past. Used to be hard to find in KK (now you can easily buy online *sigh*), so I always buy anything I can find locally XD. You'll notice that some of these have washi tape on them. I use them as an indicator or mark for where I left off. I always get confused which side I'm supposed to continue reading from lol  

My old magnetic bookmarks. Very random ones here lol (some doesn't Nicholas Teo's was even more random. It actually came in a set with some pocket files (official merch btw XD). The weird thing was, I wasn't even his fan at that time - I just decided to buy it because it came with magnetic bookmarks XD. One is missing.. probably stuck in one of my books lol

New ones. I should start using these more...
